It provides a reliable waterproof decoupling and crack-isolation layer between the final flooring and a wide variety of subfloors, ensuring long-lasting performance.
Loose cable installation gives installers complete flexibility, allowing heating to be placed only where needed—avoiding areas such as under baths or cabinets. When used with Dural sealing tape, the system becomes fully waterproof, making it an ideal solution for wetrooms, bathrooms, and moisture-prone areas.
The matting’s studded design provides a safe bending radius for cables ranging from 2mm to 4.5mm, in line with manufacturer guidelines. The stud spacing and overhang also ensure the cables are held securely while keeping installation fast and efficient.
